About Dr. Cohen
Dr. Cohen joined Raise Your Hand Texas in 2018 and leads the organization’s constituent-based advocacy work and oversees the regional advocacy director team, a unique approach to advocacy that blends grassroots organizing approaches with traditional legislative advocacy techniques. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she earned a PhD in history from Oxford and a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Analysis and English from the University of North Carolina.
